'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Preview: City -Vs- Leeds United

Hull City host Yorkshire rivals Leeds United this evening in a key Championship contest at the KC Stadium.

Both sides require maximum points, with a win for City sustaining a push for the Play-Offs with games in hand over their rivals above them. Leeds meanwhile have continued to hover on the periphery of the top six but will hope to mount a late charge under new manager Nigel Warnock.

Warnock's task has been made more difficult by the potential absence of Leigh Bromby and Aidy White, who both picked up injuries against Southampton in a 1-0 loss on Saturday.

City have the benefit of an additional day to re-coup following a 1-1 draw at Blackpool on Friday night. The game will come too soon for Robbie Brady who continues to miss out through injury, however Northern Ireland midfielder Corry Evans is expected to start in place of Seyi Olofinjana in midfield.

The Tigers will be looking to avenge a 4-1 loss suffered at Elland Road earlier in the season. The 'blip' was uncharacteristic of a team which has become the best defensively in this division, a run they will look to continue today. Leeds meanwhile are still looking for their first goal under new management following a 0-0 draw and 0-1 loss to Portsmouth and Southampton respectively.
