Allam's - City's stars won't be leaving

Hull City`s owners have denied that any of the club`s top stars will be leaving this summer.

With the uncertainty surrounding City`s suspended manager Nick Barmby and the recent termination of Football Consultant Adam Pearson`s contract with the club, there has already been reported interest in some of City`s brightest and most influential players.

Former City manager Nigel Pearson, who made himself unpopular with approaches for Cameron Stewart during the January transfer window, has been reported by Sky Sports News to have made a bid to sign City`s Player of the Season Robert Koren.

The Slovenian midfielder impressed last year when moved into a more advanced role, finishing as City`s second highest scorer and being sorely missed when injured towards the end of the 2011/12 campaign.

Despite the reported interest, City`s owners Assem and Ehab Allam have today stated to the Hull Daily Mail that they are only interested in strengthening the squad, not weakening it - a mantra which has not changed since they became owners of the club.

On what is set to become a day of revelations, the Allam`s have also confirmed in an exclusive Hull Daily Mail report that funds were available for a striker in January, which would have involved sanctioning a move for ultimately Southampton bound forward Billy Sharp.

We must keep the likes of Koren, Chester, Hobbs, Evans (Stewart?) if we are to move forward next season - I cannot see the Allam's conducting any business with Leicester City.
