Hull City monitor Rosenior injury
Hull City are awaiting the results of an Achilles scan on injured defender Liam Rosenior.
The City right-back has not been involved in the club`s pre-season preparations so far and, having avoided the necessity for surgery in the summer, Rosenior is now struggling to be fit for the league opener on 18 August.
Rosenior`s injury has left Steve Bruce with a decision to make over who could start against Rotherham United on August 11. Danny East and Paul McShane have competed for a starting berth in pre-season so far while Bruce`s son Alex and Sunderland defender Ahmed Elmohamedy are both potential avenues of exploration should Bruce look for cover in the transfer market.
