Team News: Hull City -vs- Brighton
Hull City are set to be without striker Matty Fryatt as they prepare for the Coca-Cola Championship season to kick-off at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
Last season`s top scorer, Fryatt is considered a major doubt after aggravating an Achilles injury during City`s Capital One Cup first round victory over Rotherham United.
Steve Bruce will also be unable to call upon the services of Andy Dawson and Seyi Olofinjana, while Eldin Jankupovic has suffered a hamstring injury despite now being eligible to play for The Tigers after his registration was released by Greek side Aris.
Bruce is also without the services of Sone Aluko who is still ineligible to play with Rangers continuing to hold his registration, preventing the winger from making his competitive City debut.
Positive injury news for Bruce arrives in the form of Corry Evans who should be part of City`s eighteen man squad despite missing the majority of pre-season sidelined through injury.
