'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One leaves, one stays and one joins Hull City

As deadline day and all that is entails approaches, Hull City have seen one player leave, one arrive and one remain at the KC Stadium.

Hull City right-back Danny East has joined League 2 side Northampton Town on loan, moving to Sixfields on an initial 28 day loan deal. East will gain valuable first-team experience from the move having not featured in the league for The Tigers, his professional debut coming in a League Cup loss to Macclesfield Town.

Centre-back Liam Cooper meanwhile has rejected a loan move to troubled Portsmouth. The South coast club made an approach for the City defender, but Cooper has opted to remain at the KC Stadium.

City`s inward movements have come in the form of long-term contact Ahmed Elmohamady. The Egyptian winger has made 60 appearances for the north east side but has found first team opportunities limited in recent months, especially after the arrival of new recruits. Elmohamady joins on a season long loan deal as he reunites with former manager Steve Bruce at the KC and will hope to be involved in the eighteen man squad which faces Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
