Preview: Leeds United -Vs- Hull City

Hull City travel to Elland Road tonight in search of a win to end a twenty-five year wait for a positive result.

Not since City emerged 2-0 victors from an encounter in 1987 have The Tigers won at Elland Road, earning two draws and suffering four defeats in league meetings in Leeds since that victory.

City though will not stand a better chance, having thumped Millwall 4-1 on Saturday and feeling positive about their start to the season. Unfortunately, Seyi Olofinjana looks set to miss the match, meaning Corry Evans will come into midfield. Alex Bruce is set to feature in defence against his old side.

Leeds United have injury troubles with Ross McCormack sidelined. Luke Varney will partner Luciano Becchio in attack. Former City midfielder David Norris will miss out, as will Adam Drury.

The Tigers will have added incentive tonight, looking to avenge a disastrous performance at Elland Road last season as Leeds secured a 4-1 victory.
