Preview: Nottingham Forest -Vs- Hull City

Hull City travel to Nottingham Forest this afternoon, needing a victory to ensure Steve Bruce`s side remains in the Championship top six.

Following two home fixtures which have fielded only one point, City head to a ground where they have taken maximum points from on their last two visits. Two 1-0 victories have been taken from recent visits to the Forest, and a third would ensure City remain in the promotion hunt before a trip to Watford next weekend.

City have no new injury doubts although concerns linger over Liam Rosenior, Ahmed Elmohamady and Alex Bruce. Additionally, Sone Aluko was a midweek concern but should be fit to play. Bruce may opt to make one change, brining in Jay Simpson who was rested on Tuesday night as City look to capitalise on the chances they create, but are failing to take.

Forest could make a host of changes after resting several players during their 3-1 loss at Ipswich Town in midweek. Former Tiger Daniel Ayala could come into the defence while James Coppinger, Lewis McGugan and Andy Reid could all come back into the side.

Forest, who sit 9th, have been inconsistent this season, conceding an average of a goal a game at home while also drawing the most in the division - 8.
