Hull City face Huddersfield Town in today`s early kick-off as Steve Bruce`s side look to take an early advantage over their promotion rivals.
Following back to back away victories at Nottingham Forest and Watford, Bruce will be looking for his side to take advantage of home fixtures in December, starting this lunch-time and then against rivals Leeds United and Leicester City over the festive period.
Bruce will be unable to call upon either Sone Aluko or Paul McShane today, Jay Simpson expected to continue in attack while the returning Jack Hobbs could start after making a substitute appearance against Watford, eight months after his last start for The Tigers.
Huddersfield are boosted by the return of Keith Southern. However, Paul Dixon, Joel Lynch and Jermaine Beckford are all serious doubts. Town will bring with them to the KC Anthony Gerrard. The centre-back played a season on loan with City in 2010/11 and is well regarded by the City supporters.
