City allow Stewart to join Blackburn on loan

Hull City have allowed out of favour winger Cameron Stewart to join Championship side Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

Blackburn are in desperate need of improving their squad after a number of injuries and have made a move for Stewart who has featured only four times at City since returning from an early season loan at Burnley.

Once a promising a highly regarded player at the KC, a lack of form and confidence, and a change to City`s formation, have seen Stewart`s opportunities limited.

Having recently won praise from Steve Bruce over his attitude in training, Stewart must play and impress at Blackburn in order to force his way into consideration with City and Bruce.
