Hull Succeed In Maguire Bid

Sheffield United have this morning confirmed that they have accepted the latest bid that Hull City entered for the services of defender Harry Maguire.

The 21 year old centre half has so far made 166 appearances for the Blades, scoring twelve goals in the process, and he has long been linked with a move this summer to Hull.

The accepted bid, hasn't yet been revealed, but this is possibly our fourth or even fifth attempt to secure the player and reach an agreement with United to part with him.

A statement on their official site reads.

'Sheffield United have reluctantly accepted Hull City's latest bid for Harry Maguire. The Premiership club have finally met United's valuation for the defender, who has now been granted permission to speak to the East Yorkshire club.'

Hull are yet to comment on this development.
