However, Deano has denied any comments, claiming he knows nothing about a possible move to the KC.

Although City are searching for a striker, it is thought to be unlikely to be Deano, with the likes of grant Holt (Rochdale) or Daryl Duffy (Falkirk) thought to be more desireable transfer targets.

I myself doubt any of these players will be arriving at the KC, and that when we do sign a striker, it will be someone that hasn't been mentioned in the press before. The usual Taylor signing, that no-one has mentioned before.

Deano has been consistently rumoured with the Tigers, but manager Taylor has always denied a link with the goalscorer.

A suprise approach came from Wigan Athletic of the Premiership this season, making a bid for the experienced player. Perhaps he wished he had moved there now!

Taylor has watched Holt recently, and was strongly linked with Duffy early last Summer. Duffy scored 17 goals last season, and has helped to cement Falkirk's Scottish premiership survival.
