Everton's Niasse Not Ruling Out Hull Stay

A double from Oumar Niasse - when the Everton loanee came off the bench - secured Hull a crucial three points against relegation rivals Swansea on Saturday.

His match winning performance moved Hull to within a point of safety with Niasse making his mark after being on the pitch for just six minutes. The striker then sealed the points - with an added time goal from Alfie Mawson too late for Swansea - 12 minutes from time.

Niasse came to the KCOM Stadium looking to resurrect his career after a failed spell with Everton. This could yet see him join Hull on a permanent basis but his immediate focus is on helping to keep City in the Premier League.

Asked about his future he was quoted by Sky Sports as saying.

'It's going to depend on my performances. But I think now the focus is to play the good football, to try to help the club stay in the league.'

The 26 year old struggled to make an impact at Everton following his big money move to Goodison Park in February of last year.

Looking back at his time with the Toffees - to date - Senegal international Niasse spoke of how he endured a difficult time in the end with his football coming clubs U23 side in the end.

'It was a difficult time at Everton. I was like standing in the dressing room with the U23s playing with them, travelling with them all the time. It was difficult, but I always kept smiling and always kept a positive mind to start again.'

He finished.

'But it's also a little bit complicated because of the position of [Hull], but we have to enjoy the football. If we enjoy the football, the rest can come. We have had luck [against Swansea], but the positive thoughts we have are going to make us happy and feel like we can win some points.'
