Hull City Sign Windass

Dean Windass has completed a £150,000 move to Hull City reports the official club website.

Rumors had suggested the deal was to be worth £100,000 but it has been revealed Paul Duffen has agreed to a £150,000 deal with extra payments being made to Bradford City upon each appearance.

Windass was brought back to the club in January by Phil Brown and the former Tigers hero helped his hometown club achieve Championship survival, scoring eight goals in eighteen appearances.

Windass' most decisive strike came on the penultimate weekend of the season as he struck the second half winner against Cardiff City that secured the team's survival.

Windass is Brown's first summer signing and more are expected in the coming weeks as Hull City build a team capable of competing in the Championship.

Now you have him you can give us Duffy(Swans fan)

I've heard that you've made one last attempt to sign the player and it's up to our manager whether you can have him or not. Anything from your end?

Our chairman has spoke with your new chairman a few times over the last few days, but like you say, it looks like it's down to Brown whether he wants to keep him or not. I hope you make a few more signings and place a realistic price tag on him so that we can buy him. Good luck for the season and stick one on Cardiff for me.

Our local rag is carrying rumours about a cash plus Trundle swap for Duffy. have you heard anything about that, Goochy?

That's put a smile on my face, but it will never happen, he's a Jack for life now.

Worth every penny given his goalscoring record!

Glad to get Deano on board hopful he can have a quick striker parnter upfront who will score 20 goals.Deans got gud vision and he did score alot for us last season so with better service and more chances think we could be in for an good season and as for Duffy think we should let him go to be honest but i dont want Trundle to be honest.
