Vital Report - Brighton 1-0 Hull
Hull's Championship season continued with a defeat at the Amex Stadium against Brighton on Saturday.
Going into this game it was Brighton top and Hull second, the home side retained that place after Hemed's early goal gave them a one-nil win but the Tigers slipped down the table a bit with the two-week break seeming to favour Albion more!

After a moving, and fitting tribute, was paid to those tragically killed in the Shoreham Air crash last month, it was Brighton who came out of the traps early with a Stephen effort that was blocked followed up by Hemed (5) who was left with a close range finished to put the home side one-up.
Hemed could have added more, including one effort from a cross by former Hull man Rosenior, that was deflected safely into the arms of 'keeper McGregor.
It wasn't until the final quarter of the game that Hull really got going with Brighton 'keeper Stockdale forced into saves from Elmohamady, making his 100th consecutive start for Hull, Diame and Hernandez.

Brighton would have secured the points beyond a doubt if Dawson hadn't blocked a Kayal effort but one from his countryman early on was enough to give Albion a one-nil win.
Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most in this one-nil defeat?
