Vital Report - Hull 3-0 Ipswich
Hull's Championship season continued with a win at the KC Stadium against Ipswich on Tuesday.
A comfortable three-nil win against an Ipswich side, struggling of late, was secured by Hull thanks to first half goal from Bruce and Akpom with Meyler adding the third in the second half to move City back into the play-off places.

Once more there had been talk of Hernandez being rested, but he started and could have given Hull the lead with Clucas also spurning a chance to put City in front.
This came though when Bruce (36), who came on early for Davies, scored his first goal in 76-matches for Hull when he finished off a Clucas cross heading home having stayed up after a corner to give City the lead against his former side.
Ipswich pushed on looking to get level before the break and this cost them when Parr lost the ball to Odubajo. After a one-two with Hernandez, former Brentford man Odubajo crossed into Akpom (43) who was left with a tap in on half time to double the lead.
Hoping to rescue something Ipswich made half time changes, but it didn't make much difference.
With his first league goal of the campaign, quite a way to get it, Meyler (58) made absolutely sure of the Hull win just ahead of the hour with a fine volley from outside the area to move City back into the top six.

Not that it's our worry, Ipswich on the other hand are now five-matches without a win, more worryingly for them (but happily for us) they failed to trouble us.
Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most?
