F.L.C Meeting May 8th
One member feels that we need to change the pre-match build up, and some members felt that the introduction of the stands is becoming dated. We need a build up that will help the crowd to be aware that we are close to kick off. We would like more football-based entertainment. Members felt that the build up to the second half is not quite right at the moment.
One member asked if a possible Leeds United fixture next season could be played later than 12.00noon. The probability is that the Police will insist on an early kick off for that particular game.
The Committee viewed the new home strip for next season and were happy with the strip. The kit will be launched by approximately 1st July 2006.
Members feel that the fence hinders their egress after the game, and supporters would be happier without the fencing. The Chairman insisted that the fence would be in place post match for the foreseeable future.
Members were unhappy with the service offered on the trip to Watford. The level of stewarding on the trips was questioned, and will be reviewed. The behaviour of some passengers was poor and next season's passengers should be supplied with a code of conduct.
Members feel that the soft drinks are too expensive. Prices will be discussed further at the next meeting.
One member is concerned that we do not appear to advertise our next home game around the city. The Committee feel that non season ticket holders are unaware of our forthcoming fixtures. Members felt that other football clubs seem to have much stronger b randing in the city centre.
The members feel that the overall template of the website is becoming dated, and would like to see more updates on the reserves, juniors, ladies, and the injured playersLet's hope we see some of these issues addressed and ammendments made before the new season kicks off.
